Millennial's make Florida top 10 for home buyers in the Country.
34% of home buyers in the country are made up of millennial's and Florida is a popular destination. It is believed that school zones, price, and no state tax is driving people to the sunshine state. A recent study conducted by Smart Asset indicated that 53% of homeowners in Port St. Lucie, FL are Millennial's due to college loan pay backs and lower cost of of housing with an average of $175,000. Palm Beach County is different where houses are averaging a lot higher (approximately $350,000.)
Broward County is averaging around the same price as Palm beach County for single family homes. With future families in mind, Millennial's are selecting the treasure coast due to schools being a top priority. Low property tax and no state tax allows you to keep more money in your account.
